我雖然特別鍾情於溫柔悲觀又殘酷的音樂，但節奏明快的老式音樂我同樣亦非常喜愛。而由Alex Turner跟Miles Kane組成的The Last Shadow Puppet出的第一張專輯The Age of Understatement，雖然未稱得上是我最喜愛的復古(?)專輯(個人心中的冠軍還是Jake Bugg的同名專輯) ，但同樣很值得一聽。

我很喜愛在乘地鐵時聽他們的專輯。聽著六十年代感濃重的音樂，聽著電吉他聲聽著兩人稍微相似而都挺有力量的嗓音，你會忘記自己是身處在喧鬧擠擁的車廂，會想跟隨著輕快的節奏拍著手。
我非常喜愛這專輯的第一首歌The Age of Understatement，那種前蘇聯老電影感式的強勢旋律，特別奪人眼球(怪怪的)，不過論到最值得推薦，那Standing Next to Me當然還是位居首位：兩人火花四溢，合拍感十足，配上曖味的歌詞，實在太討人歡心了(喂)。
